Kiwami Hijiri Junmai Ichiban Shizuku combines a refreshing tartness and aroma with a pleasant, slightly dry texture. Clean and well balanced, it is an easy match for a wide range of cuisine: try it with oden, roast chicken, red-fleshed fish such as tuna sashimi, or braised and stewed meats. It holds its shape well across temperatures, so enjoy it chilled in warm weather or gently warmed with heartier dishes in cooler months.

About the brewery
Miyashita was founded in 1915 in Tamano, Okayama, by two brothers, and moved in 1967 to its present site on the Asahi River, where it draws brewing water from a hundred metres underground. Its Kiwami Hijiri sake, made since 1974, was built deliberately dry against the sweeter regional norm and has won more national gold awards than any other Okayama brewery. The company also makes craft beer, shochu, liqueurs and the Okayama single malt whisky.
