Brewed entirely from Yamagata produce, including the legendary Kamenoo rice originally grown in the prefecture and suited to both brewing and eating. This undiluted Junmai Daiginjo is rich and rounded, with custard apple and lemon pudding, hints of bitter citrus peel and a zesty freshness. Elegant and well balanced, it has a gentle fruity fragrance, good acidity and a distinct savoury depth. The finish is long, and the fruitiness lingers after each sip. Best enjoyed on its own, lightly chilled.
