Brewed from Niigata's Koshitanrei rice polished to 55%, Kakurei Junmai Ginjo is soft and fragrant, with a lightly floral nose and hints of banana and pear. The palate brings a well-judged umami, rounded off by a delicate, clean finish. It is equally good chilled or slightly warmed, which makes it an easy partner for gentle Japanese dishes such as chawanmushi, steamed fish and tempura. Keep refrigerated.
